  11. The Book Report Program

  13. This program asks the user questions about a book they have read.
  14. The questions are grouped into six major areas; (Library information,
  15. Setting, Main character, Supporting characters, Main Scene, and Feelings
  16. about the book).  The user is allowed one line per answer, with the 
  17. option of getting another line for most of the questions. The objective
  18. of this one line format is to get the students to think about the
  19. book they've read, and write down important ideas that they can later
  20. develop into complete answers or reports.

  22. The Book Report Program can be used as a pre-writing activity for 
  23. students needing to compose book reports. The students can save their
  24. responses to a text file on this disk or a data disk, which can then be
  25. accessed via most ASCII word processors for revision. Or, the students 
  26. can print their responses and use the hard copy as a starting point for 
  27. a more complete report.

  29. This program has been developed as a supplement to junior high or 
  30. high school English classes.

  32. The Book Report Program requires an IBM computer. A printer is
  33. optional.
